INSIDE SALES MANAGER - PORTLAND, OR

As an Inside Sales Manager, major job responsibilities include:
- The application of managerial core competencies in a thoughtful and timely manner (applicant skills assessments, hiring, on- boarding, performance reviews, training, employee development, recognition, disciplinary action).
- Provide leadership and motivation in compliance with corporate policies and be a driver in the achievement of Midwest's Strategic Plan.
- Coordinate customer service flow efficiently and schedule daily inside sales operations.
- Take incoming phone orders and monitor progress of phone orders previously placed.
- Pro-actively solicit assigned and inactive accounts, execute lead follow-ups.
- Keep abreast of computer system enhancements and provide continuous training for staff to achieve maximum proficiency.
- Assist outside sales staff and furnish technical assistance to Will Call staff.
- Actively participate and communicate with branch management team to enhance branch performance and achieve goals.
Requirements
Ideal candidate will have a passion for excellence and fun, be customer focused and an effective communicator. With 3-5 years management and customer service experience and a history of proven managerial core competencies, individual will have what it takes to drive the highest quality of customer service, to build teams and to partner with branch and corporate management to achieve Midwest's strategic goals and objectives.
